Dr. Anupama Rao, MD

Medical Director

Dr. Rao is a highly regarded Primary Care Physician with a private practice in Little Egg Harbor, NJ with over 20 years of experience. She has served as Medical Director at Seacrest since 2011 and is a Certified Medical Director through the ABPLM (American Board of Post-Acute & Long-Term Care Medicine). She is also a member of the American Medical Directors Association.

Dr. Rao has been the recipient of many awards including the prestigious Nurses Choice Award Physician of the Year presented by Southern Ocean Medical Center , and the Leia Marcovici, M.D. Memorial Award for Compassionate Dedication to Patients presented by Saint Barnabas Medical Center. She graduated from Kilpauk Medical College in 1995 and completed her internship and residency at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ.

Dr. Dhiren Gandhi

Subacute Director

Dr. Gandhi is a highly regarded Family Medicine Specialist with over twenty-two years of experience and two private practice offices in Ocean County NJ, Little Egg Harbor, and Manahawkin. He has been a part of the Seacrest team since 2005 working with our subacute rehabilitation patients. Dr. Gandhi earned his Medical Degree from Ross University School of Medicine in 2000. He is a member of the American Medical Association and has been affiliated with Southern Ocean Medical Center since 2002.

Dr. Allen L. Silvey Jr., DO

Pulmonary Program Director

Dr. Silvey is a highly regarded pulmonologist in practice for over 15 years with offices in Linwood, Cape May Courthouse & Sewell New Jersey. He received his Medical Degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his post-graduate studies at Rowan College. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2001. A retired veteran, he served 4 years in the Active Marine Corp and 16 years in the Army National Guard. Dr. Silvey was awarded South Jersey Top Pulmonologist and is licensed in New Jersey and Kentucky.

Dr. Robert J. Mathews, MD, FASN

Director of Nephrology

Dr. Mathews is a board certified physician who has been practicing nephrology and internal medicine for more than a decade. He currently serves as Medical Director of Atlantic City Renaissance Fresenius Dialysis Clinic, Office Director of Regional Nephrology Associates in Northfield, NJ, and Utilization Review Program Director of Select Medical LTACH Atlantic City.

Dr. Mathews is a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology and an active member of the American College of Physicians. He is a graduate of PennState University and Iberoamerican University (UNIBE).

Dr. Mathews is an active member of the teaching faculty at Atlanticare for the medical residents and an associate professor for the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. In recognition of his teaching excellence, he was awarded Teacher of the Quarter by the Atlantic Regional Medical Center. He was also presented with the John Zachariah Award of Excellence.

Dr. James F. Orlando, MD

Cardiac Rehab Director

Dr. Orlando is an Interventional Cardiology Specialist and a member of Shore Heart Group. He is currently Vice President of Medical Staff and Director of Cardiac CathLab at Southern Ocean Medical Center. He completed his Medicine Residency and Cardiology Fellowship at UMDNJ and his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at North Shore University/Long Island Jewish Health System. His specialties include atherosclerotic heart disease, cardiac catherization, angioplasty, stenting of coronary arteries, arrhythmia management and heart failure. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Fellow of the Society of Coronary Angiography and Intervention.

Dr. Gabriel Catalina, DO

Co-Director of Post Acute CareTransitions / Orthopedic Program

Dr. Catalina is an Internal Medicine physician who currently serves as Co-Director of the Center for Perioperative Medicine at AtlantiCare. He graduated medical school in 1996 from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a one year rotating internship at Atlanticare the following year and then completed a three year Internal Medicine Residency at Yale University in New Haven, CT.

In 2000, Dr. Catalina opened a private practice together with Dr. Driscoll in Margate and then Ventnor, NJ until 2008. They then began to focus on perioperative medicine and developed the program that exists at Atlanticare today. In addition to perioperative medicine, Dr. Catalina has a keen interest in post hospital care/rehab care for patients recovering from surgery and is Co-Director of Seacrest’s Post Acute Care Transitions/Orthopedic Program alongside Dr. Driscoll. He manages post hospital/rehab patients from a medical perspective on a daily basis and has been doing so for almost twenty years.

Dr. Catalina lives in Galloway, NJ and is married with three daughters. He enjoy exercising and golfing, in addition to socializing and traveling with friends when time permits.

Dr. Eric Driscoll, DO

Co-Director of Post Acute CareTransitions / Orthopedic Program

Dr. Driscoll has been practicing medicine for more than two decades and is Co-Director of Seacrest’s Post Acute Care Transitions/Orthopedic Program alongside Dr. Catalina. He graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1996, and completed his internship at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center and his residency in Primary Care Internal Medicine at University of Connecticut. He has been recognized with numerous awards including the James E.C. Walker Award for Excellence in Health Promotion in the Community by University of Connecticut, and the AtlantiCare Customer Service Award.

Dr. Driscoll presently serves as Co-Director of AtlantiCare Center for Perioperative Medicine in Egg Harbor Township and is affiliated with AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center and Bacharach Institute for Rehabilitation in Pomona, New Jersey.

Dr. Chi M. Wu, MD, MBA

Physiatrist

Dr. Wu has been practicing medicine for over 30 years in acute and subacute rehabilitation hospitals and facilities. She was formerly the Medical Director at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital in Toms River, NJ. Dr. Wu is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is currently the Rehabilitation physician for patients participating in the subacute rehab program at Seacrest Village.

Dr. Wu graduated from Johns Hopkins University and attended medical school in Philadelphia at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. She completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She then did a Pediatric Rehabilitation Fellowship at the Childrens National Medical Center in Washington, DC. She also obtained her Master of Business Administration at the University of South Florida in Tampa.

Dr. Wu’s other areas of interest include Acupuncture, holistic medicine, and sports medicine. She strives to help others to maximize their functional abilities both personally and physically.

Dr. Manish N. Trivedi, MD

Infectious Disease Specialist

Dr. Trivedi is a highly regarded infectious disease doctor with over a decade of experience. Certified in both infectious disease and internal medicine, Dr. Trivedi was educated in Hofstra North Shore-LIJ University Hospital, Morristown Memorial Hospital, and Ross University School of Medicine. He is an expert in tricky diagnoses, and hard to treat conditions, including cross-system illnesses. Seacrest looks forward to benefitting from Dr. Trivedi’s vast store of knowledge as he leads the infectious disease department at our facility.

Elizabeth Eble DNP, APN, ACHPN

Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner

Throughout her nursing career, Elizabeth Eble has provided the entire spectrum of patient care. She began in labor and delivery and now helps patients and families as they approach the end of life. Elizabeth earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in nursing from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and her doctorate in nursing practice from Wilmington University in Delaware. She is board-certified as an Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner.

Palliative care helps lift the burden of making decisions in a crisis. “It’s not an easy conversation, but it is important for everyone to understand how disease progresses and how the patient wants to be treated at each stage,” she explains. A life-long resident of Atlantic County, Elizabeth lives in Northfield. She loves to travel and spend time with her adult children.
