Hometown hero veteran honored at Seacrest

Seacrest Partners with Local Leadership and VFW Post for Hometown Hero Recognition Event

Seacrest Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Little Egg Harbor honored local hero Bert Politoski as he was discharged from their facility after recovering from knee surgery. Politoski, a well-known figure in the area, has been walking 20 miles a day since 1989, collecting almost 2,000 pounds of trash along the way. With the support of Mayor Susan Marshall and VFW Post 12173, Seacrest organized a recognition event to honor Politoski for his military service and dedication to environmental preservation. The event included the presentation of a proclamation by the VFW, and Politoski expressed his gratitude to the Seacrest team for his recovery and shared plans to continue his walks.
