WWII Navy Veteran Celebrates 100th Birthday in Little Egg Harbor

George S., a decorated WWII Navy veteran and resident of Seacrest Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Little Egg Harbor, recently celebrated his 100th birthday. The event was attended by family, friends, staff, and local dignitaries, including Assemblyman Gregory Myhre and several area mayors. 

Born in 1925, George served in the Navy as a merchant marine and gunner, earning multiple medals. After the war, he enjoyed a long career as a brewmaster. Seacrest hosted the celebration, highlighting its commitment to honoring residents and its recognition as one of America’s Best Nursing Homes.
